Alexander von Nordmann (May 24, 1803 - June 25, 1866), full name Alexander Davidovic von Nordmann, was a Finnish zoologist. He was born in Kymi (now a part of Kotka).

Nordmann was a professor at Odessa, and collected natural history specimens in southern Russia. He became professor of Zoology at the university of Helsinki in 1849.

The butterfly Parnassius nordmanni and the fir-tree Abies nordmanniana are named after him.
