Dr.-Ing. Carl-August Landfermann (14 July 1914 in Dortmund – 18 November 2003 in Hagen) was a German chief engineer on a U-boat in World War II and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross (German: Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes). The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognize extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.

Landfermann was stationed on U-181 under the command of Wolfgang Lüth when U-181 made the second longest patrol in U-boat history. When U-181 returned from this patrol Landfermann received the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on 27 October 1943 from Großadmiral Karl Dönitz, after Lüth had recommended him for the second time.
